Hi Dreamers! I can't believe that we are already in July and we are in the Summer... What? How can that be possible? In some days (kind of okey?) we are on the new year's eve. Time flies! But well, this isn't the theme for today so I will talk about products to protect you from the sun and the importance of using them - I know that normally you know it but it is never a lot to know - and obvious I will give you my opinion.
Bem vamos então começar, nesta primeira parte deste post - psst: já estou a dizer que vai haver outra parte - vamos ter 3 marcas diferentes: Bioderma, Kiko e Nivea. Eu destas só costumo utilizar Nivea, mas a verdade é que a Kiko começou este ano ou no ano passado, se não me engano, com estas gamas de proteção solar.
Sabiam que existem diferentes formas de colocar protetor? Nas marcas que pesquisei e por experiência própria existem maioritariamente 3 formas: o leite, o creme e o spray. Na verdade, não sei qual é a diferença entre o leite e o creme pois um ou outro costumam ser líquidos mas ao mesmo tempo grossos. Depois conforme a marca, existe, ou não, um protetor especial para as crianças ou então uns próprios para os diferentes tipos de pele.

Well, let's start! In this first part - psst: I'm already saying that you will have another part - we have 3 different brands: Bioderma, Kiko and Nivea. I usually use Nivea, but in Portugal I believe that Kiko starts to have this products this year or the previous one so I don't use it.
You know that exists different ways to apply your sunscreen? In brands that I search including these ones and with my own knowledge you can find majorly 3 ways: milk, cream or spray. I actually don't know the difference between this milk and this cream because they usually are liquid and thick. After that, according to the different brands, exists or not, a special sunscreen for kids or for different skin types.

Começando pela Bioderma, temos a gama do Photoderm MAX, ou seja, os produtos são de FPS superior a 50 logo servem para todas as pessoas, mas muito mais para àquelas pessoas branquinhas (peles sensíveis) como eu que têm uma maior tendência para escaldões.
Temos então o leite, o creme, o aquafluid, o protetor labial e a bruma. O leite e o creme são a versão mais sólida e o aquafluid é a versão mais líquida mas continua a ser um creme e este último diminui a quantidade de brilhos na pele.
Depois temos o protetor labial que muitas pessoas provavelmente se esquecem porque colocam no corpo e na cara mas se for preciso não colocam nada nos lábios e está errado porque os lábios ficam desidratados, secos e se existe produtos solares para eles porque não os usar? Neste caso, este é o de 8g mas existe o de 4 que tem o formato mesmo de batom. Este tem uma forte ação reestruturante, anti-inflamatória e anti-oxidante, o que me dizem disto? Parece-me bem! :)
E para acabar há a bruma, que eu penso que é uma nova forma no mercado, que é um spray e o site da Bioderma diz-nos que tem um "difusor multi posições sem tampa que possibilita uma aplicação sem espalhar" e uma "aplicação wet skin", ou seja pode ser aplicado quer na pele seca como molhada.
Eu sou sincera prefiro os sprays porque é muito mais fácil e rápido mas os cremes também são fáceis de pôr e se tiverem umas maõzinhas extra que vos ponha nas costas bem melhor não é?

Starting with Bioderma, we have the Photoderm MAX, this is, products with SPF above 50 that serve to all people but mostly to those people that have a light skin (sensible skin) like me that have a huge tendency to get sunburn.
We have the milk, the cream, the aquafluid, the lip balm and the brume. The milk and the cream are the solid version and the aquafluid is more liquid like the name says. The aquafluid decreases the brightness of the skin.
After these ones we have the lip balm that a lot of people probably forget about because they put in the body and face but in some way forget to protect the lips and it's wrong because the lips get dehydrated and dried and if exists products to protect your lips from the sun why don't you use it? In this case, this is the 8grams but you have a 4grams too. In the website says that this lip balm has a strong action restorative, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, what you think about that? Seems good :)
Finally the brume, I think that here in Portugal is a new shape in the market, that is a spray and the website of Bioderma say to us that has a diffuser multi positions without cap that enables an application without spreading and an wet skin application, this means that you can put with your skin dry or wet.
Sincerely I prefer sprays because is much easier and quickly than the creams but the creams are easier too and if you have an extra hands to put on your back is better right?

Passando agora para a KIKO, temos dois cremes, um batom e um óleo protetor de cabelo. Temos o creme de FPS 50 para a face e corpo, o batom que tanto dá para a face como para o corpo, mas é mais para zonas delicadas como cicatrizes, manchas, contorno de olhos e lábios.
Depois temos o creme FPS 30 para a face com protetor contra o foto-envelhecimento. E finalmente, o óleo de cabelo com FPS 6 que protege não só o nosso cabelo mas também o nosso couro cabeludo contra as radiações solares.

Next is KIKO, we have two creams, one stick and a solar haircare oil. First we have the SPF 50 for face and body, the stick for face and body but in specific to sensitive zones like scars, stains, eye countour and lips.
After we have the cream with SPF 30 for face and body against the photoaging and then the oil with a SPF 6 that protect not only our hair but our scalp from the solar radiations.

E por último passamos à NIVEA, esta sim é uma marca que utilizo e que gosto bastante e sempre que há promoções na marca eu aproveito principalmente nesta altura de Verão para comprar estes produtos.
Temos então três cremes e um spray, todos eles resistentes à água mas atenção que não é pôr, ir à água e nunca mais voltar a pôr protetor mas sim ir colocando ao longo do dia e conforme as idas à água. O primeiro creme é para a face e é da gama de Protect & Bronze - tal como o 2º e o 4º - e esta gama basicamente protege das radiações solares mas ao mesmo tempo ajuda a termos aquele bronzeado bonito pois possui ativadores de bronzeado.
Depois temos o creme da gama Protect & Moisture que protege e hidrata a nossa pele.

The first one is for the face and is the Protect & Bronze - like the 2nd and the 4th one - and these basically protect your skin from the solar radiations but at the same time helps to have a nice tan because contains tan activating.
After these ones we have the cream Protect & Moisture that protect and hydrate our skin.
